What's in our cream 2.0

Ingredient Highlight: Ritamulse

We love telling people that we use natural emulsifiers in our cream. It's one thing we are super proud of and this natural emulsifier is called Ritamulse (by trade name). Other natural emulsifiers we use are stearic acid and cetearyl alcohol.

What is Ritamulse?

Ritamulse is an EcoCert, oil in water emulsifier derived from plants. It helps enhance viscosity and stabilizes our creams. It helps give a rich feeling and is also known for being a humectant (help retain moisture).

Why do we use it?

I wanted to keep my ingredients as natural as possible. Unfortunately due to supplier changes, ingredient discontinuation, and/or ingredients not cooperating, I can confidently say my creams are 92.7% natural.

Did you know this ingredient is used in our body scrubs? It's what helps keep your skin hydrated with our oils while emulsifying in the water to not leave your shower or tub slick!

Why not 99% natural?

To help keep my products affordable, yet maintain that sense of luxury in the feeling of the creams, the 7.3% makes a difference in both cost and efficacy.

Where can I find it?

You can check our body cream section and even our body scrub section!
