      As a business, Pampas & Reed collects various personal data information through Wix Orders. This section of the policies describes how and what kind of data is processed, stored, used. This policy exists to ensure that Pampas & Reed is compliant with the local laws and current personal data regulations. It’s also here to protect your rights as customers and inform you about possible use of your data when you interact with this store. This privacy policy is written in compliance with GDPR. By purchasing from Pampas & Reed you consent to me using your personal information in the ways described below.

 

Personal information we collect 
      When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”. 

We collect Device Information using the following technologies: 
- “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org. 
- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. 
- “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site. 


      Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers Debit-Credit Cards and PayPal), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

Third Party Sharing:

      Some of your information is processed by third parties on my behalf; however, for limited reasons. The companies are listed below along with a legal basis for this type of processing.
- Analytics: Google Analytics:
Legal basis for a disclosure of this data is the company’s legitimate interest – in this case, the sharing of data is necessary to maintain and monitor the shop’s performance and improve its functionality.
- Etsy:
We share information with Etsy as necessary to provide and maintain inventory. Also to comply with our obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
- Shipping providers: Freightcom and Canada Post
Legal basis for a disclosure of this data is fulfillment of the Sales Agreement between the Seller and Buyer.
- Accounting Services: Turbotax
Legal basis for a disclosure of this data is the company’s lawful obligation, namely accounting and record keeping for tax purposes.
- Payment processing: PayPal, Wix PCI-DSS
Legal basis for a disclosure of this data is the Sales Agreement between the Seller and Buyer. We will only disclose data that is necessary for the purposes of payment processing, refunds or complaints and queries related to these payments. If you’re unsure about how the data is stored by these payment services, I highly recommend that you to visit the websites at their own links and pages, and read more about the measures they take to protect your personal data.

Stored or deleted information:

      If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. We describe these rights below:
Your personal data is not kept indefinitely, it's only stored as long as necessary for legal reasons or for order fulfillment. 

      In some cases it's not possible to specify how long your data will be kept. The period of retention will be set based on the company’s legal obligations and legitimate interests – such as maintenance of this shop.
We may also keep your personal records longer than specified, if it’s to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.


When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information. 

How do we use your personal information? 

      We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to: 
- Communicate with you; 
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and 
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services. 
- Additionally, we may disclose some of your personal data to insurers and professional advisers, as long as it is necessary. For example, managing risks, receive professional business advice, or proceed with legal claims in or outside court.
- Compliance with laws:

      We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce our agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers, or others.

Any data shared with a third party is forwarded using encrypted internet connection (SSL). The service providers working with Pampas & Reed are GDPR compliant and belong to the Security Shield program. Physical copies of your personal data (for example shipping labels, invoices) are stored in our studio and destroyed as soon as no longer required, which may include, but not limited to one (1) year. We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. We generally keep data for the following time period: 4 years.

      We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns). 


Sharing your personal Information 

      We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use the Wix.com platform which provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

      Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. 

Behavioural advertising 

      As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you.       Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser. 

Your rights 

      If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below. 

      Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States. 

Data retention 

      When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. 

Changes 

      We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. 

 

 

PRIVACY POLICY

     We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.
